Cindy Sirapassorn and her team are delighted to open our new branch, Passorn Thai Brasserie, in Edinburgh city centre. Passorn Thai Brasserie specialises in using the finest seafood from the North of Scotland in authentic Thai recipes.
We offer authentic, original and classic Thai cuisine, served in elegant, yet warm and welcoming, surroundings. Our standards of service are renowned for being attentive and friendly.
We promise wholly authentic, beautifully executed and stylishly presented contemporary and classic Thai cuisine.
Passorn uses only the finest and freshest Scottish ingredients and all the Thai herbs, spices and vegetables that we use are imported from Thailand.
Each individual dish is freshly prepared, in accordance with the customer’s wishes, by our team of Thai chefs, each with decades of experience at the highest level.
We would never use MSG in our cooking.
‘best Thai in Scotland’
'sets the standard for Thai restaurants in the capital'
'A fab trio of starters' .... 'mains are amazing'... 'all wonderful'... 'they deserve their Bib Gourmand from the Michelin Guide'...'when I can get totally lost in the food, it's going to be a nine out of ten'
Passorn are honoured to have been the recipients of a prestigious ‘Bib Gourmand’ for both 2014/15 and for 2015/16 from the Michelin Guide.
Passorn restaurants are family-run, owned by a Thai woman, use only authentic Thai recipes and employ Thai chefs only.
Our sister restaurant, Passorn Thai, was launched in December 2009 by Cindy Sirapassorn, with the goal of providing wholly authentic Thai cuisine using only the finest Scottish produce plus imported Thai herbs and vegetables.
‘Passorn’ means ‘angel’ in Thai and we wish to provide an angelic experience for our customers.
